What else?
When you are new to Bishop Burton College, the "What Else?" event will always give you a great welcome...
"What else?" ... it's just that - explaining all those other events and activities that go on at the College, from sporting activities to social fun.
You'll get the chance to sign up for any of the sports teams, such as men or women's football teams; rugby; mixed hockey; clay pigeon shooting and netball. There are also sports based activities for individuals such as fencing, Pilates, X biking and stability ball classes.
If you enjoy socialising then the annual Black Tie Summer Ball is an important date in the summer term but the Valentines and Christmas events and especially the hall decoration competition is also very popular.
The Thursday night discos, which are themed or incorporate a talent show or karaoke, are popular with all our learners.
As we are a residential college we have something happening each night and over the weekends too - the great Easter Rabbit hunt is one of the mixtures of both sporting (there are two large rabbits to chase) and social (mostly to do with stealing carrots from one another).
Perhaps a more sensible shopping trip or Christmas present exchange would be more your thing - we do those too ...
SO JOIN IN AND GET INVOLVED!
